Ground beef and potato noodle casserole

A hearty and nutritious casserole full of flavor! You can add variety by swapping the root vegetables, or by making the casserole, for example, with fish.

Ingredients:

  • 1,000 KG Mestari potato noodles
  • 0,600 KG pork-and-beef minced meat
  • 0,200 KG Royal sun-dried tomatoes in strips (oil reserved from draining)
  • 0,040 KG Filos light balsamic sauce
  • 0,300 KG Dodoni feta crumbles or Filos feta, crumbled
  • 0,300 L Lactose-free cream
  • 0,005 KG tomato paste
  • 0,200 KG cabbage, carrot in strips (100g each)
  • 0,100 KG leek

Seasonings:
thyme
salt
pasta seasoning
light balsamic sauce
basil
black pepper
paprika powder

Preparation:

Mix the potato noodles, julienned vegetables and sun-dried tomato strips and some of the spices together. Fry the minced meat and leek in the oil from the sun-dried tomato strips. Season with black pepper, salt and paprika powder.
Put into a greased baking dish in layers: 1. potato-noodle and vegetable mixture; 2. browned and seasoned minced meat; 3. crumbled feta; 4. potato-noodle and vegetable mixture.
Mix the cream and tomato puree. Season well. Pour the mixture into the dish and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40-45 minutes. Garnish with crumbled feta, cherry tomatoes and herbs.

Tip: You can vary it by changing the root vegetables or by making the casserole with fish.
